Further Statement re ACX Trading Issues
Blockchain Australia is disappointed to note that the trading issues impacting ACX customers appear to be ongoing. We note that the ACX website continues to inform customers that, due to an audit process, it is not processing deposits or withdrawals. No timeline is given as to when the situation is expected to be resolved.
Although Blockchain Australia has no enforcement or regulatory authority in this matter, we have been in contact with ACX to urge that they resolve this situation as swiftly as possible.
Blockchain Australia initiated a disciplinary process under our Member’s Code of Ethical Conduct on January 24th requesting ACX to show cause why they should remain a member of Blockchain Australia. Unfortunately, no response was received by the formal deadline of February 14th.
ACX are no longer members of Blockchain Australia and the Board of Blockchain Australia has resolved not to entertain any request to renew their membership.
We continue to urge ACX to resolve whatever difficulties are preventing renewed trading for customers as swiftly as possible.
