As we close out the year, the expression “tokenisation is blockchain’s killer app” is ringing loud in our ears – from the RBA’s CBDCs Pilots, Blockchain Australia Week, Treasury Discussion Papers, Singapore Fintech Festival, Crypto Convention and on and on. If tokenisation of real-world assets is the trend for 2024, what does all this chatter mean for innovative Web 2.0 companies that are solving real world problems on a global scale? Where do they start? BlockTexx is one of this companies. Come along and hear BlockTexx Co-Founder, Graham Ross, share his blockchain story and why it has taken 5 years to get here. If we are to watch mainstream adoption of blockchain technology, perhaps it is time to make a space for those voices like Graham who don’t want to be a blockchain expert or influencer drinking the cool aid but truly want to put to task this technology to access its benefits for their industries and their customers and change the world in the process.
