Blockchain Australia is the peak industry body representing those who seek to participate in the blockchain, DLT and cryptocurrency sector.
We recognise that we have entered a critical stage in the development of the industry. We have sought to bridge the gap between awareness and interest in the development of the industry and believe that the moment to engage in meaningful dialogue with the Federal Government about the direction of the industry has arrived.
We are presented with an opportunity to develop a path to a regulatory regime that is fit for purpose and balances the appropriate checks, balances and business development incentives. We must consider, debate and implement a framework as quickly as practicably possible so that Australia can benefit from a transformational economic environment.
That path requires subject matter expertise that we, as an industry body, seek out and leverage for the benefit of the broader community.
Blockchain Australia is very pleased to announce the appointment of Chloe White – Managing Director – Genesis Block as a Strategic Policy Advisor to our organisation.
Chloe White brings a wealth of experience across the cryptocurrency and blockchain sector having recently led the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources – National Blockchain Roadmap initiatives, and having previously led Government reviews and analysis on crypto-assets. Chloe‘s deep industry knowledge is an incredibly valuable addition to the dedicated resources Blockchain Australia has committed to the development of a regulatory framework agenda.
